They are becoming members of an expanding Internet of Things (IoT): a sensor web of devices connected to one another via the internet to provide real-time data about infrastructure, weather, traffic, customers and services. Join us on February 4th, 2016 for URISA BC’s one day seminar entitled Space-Time! Geo-enabling the Internet of Things as we explore how GIS is playing an important role in geo-enabling the synthesis, display and analysis of the IoT’s data streams making them useful across a wide range of application areas that include public works, transportation, emergency management, tourism and sustainability.
